The Halcyon Flare Handheld takes the popularity of Halcyon’s Flare lighting system, and adds a stand-alone battery pack to make a new compact, cordless primary light.

The Flare Handheld shares many of the features of Halcyon’s cord versions of the Flare and Focus lighting, including a machined aluminum head, magnet switch and rugged construction.

New battery technology has allowed Halcyon to create a hand-held light that is only 1.4 pounds, 7.75 inches long, with a 2.5 hour burn time. The charger is ultra-compact and makes for easy traveling. Charge time is 2.5 hours.

The Flare Handheld provides 11,500 LUX at 1 meter, 1700 LUX at 3 meters, and 650 LUX at 5 meters. The new Flare Handled provides primary light power and duration in an overall package that fits in a drysuit pocket or clips to your harness.
